Pastor David earned his Masters of Divinity at Fuller Seminary and is currently in the process of completing his Doctor of Ministry. Pastor David has a passion for worship and preaching, and his hero in the Bible is King David. Sharon is a professor of sociology at California State University Fullerton, and her passion is to equip people through the teaching of God's word. They are proud parents of two boys, Daniel and Joel. Their ministry philosophy is to win the world for Jesus and have a great time doing it.
Mike serves as the Associate Pastor and oversees administration and Ministry Teams. He received his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and enjoys playing basketball and tennis. Mayu works as a Nurse Supervisor and enjoys watching movies and bargain shopping. Mike and Mayu love to eat good food, as do their two children, Hannah and Mark. They have been attending The Garden since its beginning in 1995 and love the church’s emphasis on discipleship.
Scott serves as the Worship Pastor and Director of Creative Arts. He received his Master of Worship, Theology, and the Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary and enjoys playing ping pong, basketball, and the guitar. Christina works as the Manager of Student Affairs & Training Activities at UCLA Dept. of Pathology and enjoys fine dining and watching movies. The Wongs serve as lay leaders and have been attending The Garden since 1995. Mike, who enjoys golf, basketball, and skiing, also heads the Finance Ministry utilizing his expertise working as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Kathy, now a stay-at-home mom, worked as a prosecutor and civil attorney for the City of LA and enjoys reading, cleaning, and eating good food. Mike and Kathy have three children: Jessica, David, and
The Limbs serve as lay leaders overseeing the Kingdom Builders Family Ministry. Jerry works as a urologist and enjoys playing basketball and volleyball during his spare time. Marian is a part-time internist and a full-time mother to their two children, Madeline and Matthew. She enjoys reading and cooking. Jerry and Marian love building relationships and fostering a genuine community. They have been attending The Garden since 1996.
Cecil serves as a lay leader overseeing the Tentmakers Singles Ministry. He is a true “tentmaker” in the mold of the Apostle Paul: He works in the Intellectual Department at Sony Pictures by trade but a dedicated disciple in God’s kingdom. Cecil enjoys reading, playing video games, and eating ice cream. He has a passion for missions work to the Navajo Nation to which he has been committed for over a decade now. Cecil has been attending The Garden since 1997 and loves to mentor and disciple people to be passionate for God.
