Vision
The Garden began with the promise in Matthew 16:18-19 that on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
God is indeed building His church in the following five areas:
WORSHIP.
We place a high priority on worship at The Garden. Through heartfelt praise and intimate worship, we seek to be worshippers who worship God "in spirit and truth."
DISCIPLESHIP.
Through one-on-one discipleship we seek to train up workers for the kingdom of God. We challenge our members to be uncompromising disciples of Jesus who can be the "salt and the light of the earth."
COMMUNITY.
As members of the same family, we seek to build quality relationships with one another that will last throughout eternity. There relationships that are built are not just friendships, but Kingdom centered partnerships which are focused on God and His Kingdom.
MINISTRY.
Every believer has been given a ministry. Each one has been called to serve the Lord by using their spiritual gifts to build up the church of God.
EVANGELISM.
The mission of Jesus was to seek and save the lost. In sharing the gospel with our family, friends, co-workers, and classmates, we seek to obey the commission that Jesus has given His church. We are also committed to church planting and world missions as a means to bring the Gospel to a lost and hurting world.
