For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” EVERY BELIEVER WILL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 This is different than the Great White Throne Judgment “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it.” Revelation 20:11 We will be Judged for Our Works Done in Our Lives “That each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 Jesus Will Judge Us Thoroughly ”His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work.” 1 Corinthians 3:13 THE RESULT OF THE JUDGMENT WILL BE THE GAIN OR LOSS OF ETERNAL REWARDS “My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.” Revelation 22:12 ETERNAL REWARDS: Commendation By Jesus "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things.” Matthew 25:21 Crowns The Crown of Life (James 1:12) , The Incorruptible Crown ( 1 Cor. 9:25), The Crown of Glory (1 Peter 5:4) , The Crown of Righteousness (2 Tim. 4:8) , The Crown of Rejoicing (1 Thess. 2:19) Special Responsibilities “Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.” Luke 19:17 SUFFERING LOSS OF REWARDS “He will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.” 1 Corinthians 3:15 PREPARING FOR THAT DAY: Make It Your Goal To Please Him “So we make it our goal to please Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:9 Seriously Evaluate Your Life Today “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.
